Breeder groups

The register lists a specific legal entity as the rights holder, not the group. Therefore, "all KWS varieties" cannot be retrieved directly from the register: they are distributed among a dozen legal entities in different countries. The group consolidates them.

Groups are not yet labeled

Linking legal entities into groups is an editorial task that cannot be automated. While "KWS SAAT SE" and "KWS Momont" are indeed a single group, "Syngenta Seeds" and "Syngenta Crop Protection" are different divisions of the same corporation; merging them based on a common first word would imply a structure that does not exist in the registers.
