Variety description

The plant is a deciduous shrub with a rounded, dense, vertically directed crown. Foliage is glossy, green, and turns orange-red shades in autumn. Flowers are tubular, gathered in inflorescences at the ends of shoots; buds have a deep pink color, becoming white-pink upon opening.
Flowering occurs in late spring to early summer on the previous year's shoots. The variety possesses high frost resistance, withstanding temperature drops down to –25°C (USDA zone 4). The plant prefers sunny locations or partial shade and fertile, well-drained soils.
The shrub is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests. In landscape design, it is used as a specimen plant, for creating hedges and borders, and for planting in containers.
