The Mizao No.1 variety (Chinese name 猕枣1号) belongs to the species Actinidia arguta. In scientific studies on molecular genetic analysis and germplasm collection identification, the variety is classified as a male specimen serving as a pollinator.

Existing publications lack detailed characteristics of plant height, disease resistance, or fruit quality. The variety should be distinguished from the female fruit-bearing variety "Xiangmizao", which is an independent breeding unit.
