The variety forms a low rosette 15–20 cm high and 75–120 cm in diameter. The leaves have a narrow creamy-white margin with characteristic cherry-red, chocolate, or burgundy spots. Unlike many agave species, the leaves are devoid of sharp spines.
The plant is drought-tolerant and adapted to USDA hardiness zones 7b–11, withstanding short-term temperature drops to -5...-8°C. During the flowering period, it produces a flower stalk up to 1–2 meters high with small reddish-brown flowers, while the plant itself does not die after flowering.
The variety is used in ornamental gardening for landscaping in containers, rock gardens, or as a groundcover plant in warm climates. Its resistance to Verticillium wilt is noted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
