Variety description

The plant has a habit consisting of dense rosettes 5 to 15 cm in height. Young leaves have a lavender hue with a pink margin, which turn green with a creamy-white border as they mature. Flowering occurs in spring with blue-purple inflorescences; a repeat flush is possible in late summer.
The variety is characterized by vigorous growth and resistance to heat and humidity, though it may be susceptible to powdery mildew. The plant is used as a decorative groundcover for shady and semi-shady areas, rock gardens, borders, and container gardening.
