The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of Slovakia. The author notes that when grown on sufficiently fertile soils, the crop does not require the use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers, although the planting material requires pre-treatment.
Propagation is possible both by bulb cloves and by bulbils, with the latter requiring adherence to a specific humidity regime during storage until the time of spring planting.
