The plant reaches a height of about 50 cm, with foliage growing up to 30 cm. The bushes have a faint garlic aroma. Flowering occurs in summer, from July to September, with white flowers collected in umbellate inflorescences.

The variety is hardy, overwintering in climate zones starting from 5. It can be affected by downy mildew or onion white rot. Prefers sunny areas or partial shade with fertile, drained, and moderately moist soils. Propagated by division of the bush or layering.
