Variety description

The variety Koncavito (Inca Vito) is a compact upright plant forming dense clumps. Height varies from 30 cm when grown in containers to 60–100 cm in open field. Leaves are dark green, lanceolate, subject to resupination.
Flowers are funnel-shaped, bright red, with yellow and spotted markings on the inner petals. Flowering lasts from early summer to mid-autumn. The plant prefers sunny spots or partial shade, as well as well-drained fertile soils.
The variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt. It is a thermophilic crop (hardiness zones 7a–10b); in regions with cold climates, wintering indoors is required.
