The variety was bred by controlled crossing of the orchid-flowered Alstroemeria type with the butterfly-flowered type. The plant has tall and thick stems; foliage density varies from medium to high.

The primary selection criterion for this variety was flower coloration. The variety is propagated using the in vitro tissue culture method to obtain virus-free planting material.
