The Prealbour variety is officially registered as a plant breeding achievement. It is used as a reference sample for conducting comparative examination in official testing guidelines for Alstroemeria varieties.

A distinctive morphological feature of the variety is the presence of a large number of stripes on the upper side of the outer perianth segments. The variety is intended for cut flower production in professional floriculture.
