Variety description

The Stapurzul variety (trade name Azula) is a perennial herbaceous plant with tall, rigid, and erect stems. The leaves are narrow-elliptic in shape, dark green in color, and possess moderate glossiness on the upper side.
The flowers of the variety are medium-sized, with a purple or red-purple hue. The umbel-type inflorescence includes a medium number of long branches with pedicels of medium length. The perianths are moderately open; the outer petals are obovate in shape with a few streaks towards the apex.
The plant is intended for year-round greenhouse cultivation and is used as a cut flower crop. The variety shows relative resistance to Verticillium wilt and is characterized by heat tolerance.
