The Little Miss Vanessa series is a dwarf variety 15–30 cm tall with bright red or crimson flowers featuring a yellow center and dark streaks. The variety is intended for growing in pots, containers, and border plantings, characterized by long-lasting flowering from May to October.

The tall alstroemeria named Vanessa reaches a height of 80 cm and is used as a cut flower crop for floral arrangements. The flowers of this type are described as purple, sometimes with a two-tone effect. The plant is capable of maintaining freshness for a long time after cutting.
