The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant with tuberous roots, having an upright and somewhat spreading habit. The height of a mature specimen is approximately 30–45 cm.
The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and forms funnel-shaped red flowers. The variety is intended for cultivation in USDA zones 7–10 and belongs to the Princess series, also known as Colorita.
