The Pribina variety (mutant line C82) belongs to the species Amaranthus cruentus. It was developed from the initial genotype Ficha by gamma-ray irradiation. The purpose of the variety is grain production, while the plant is also considered a potential object for soil phytoremediation of heavy metals.

The seeds of the variety are characterized by a high thousand kernel weight, increased protein content (16–18%), squalene and oil, as well as the presence of a wide range of minerals. The plant's leaves contain antioxidants, including flavonoids, phenolic compounds, and rutin.

The variety is undemanding, demonstrating resistance to drought, high temperatures, as well as to biotic and abiotic stress factors. The crop is capable of growing on low-fertility soils.
