Variety description

The plant forms an upright clump 120–130 cm tall, in some cases reaching 150 cm. The leaves are colored blue-green, turning orange-yellow or red-orange shades in autumn. Inflorescences of a reddish-purple or red-brown color are located on prominent red stems.
The flowering period occurs from July–August to October–November. The variety prefers well-drained sandy soils and a sunny location. The plant has high drought tolerance, but is sensitive to waterlogging of the soil in the winter period.
