The plant is an interspecific hybrid that forms dense clumps of green foliage 30 to 60 cm in height. Flowers with a diameter of 7–9 cm are characterized by the ability to open in the morning and droop (close) in the evening, while acquiring a lilac-gray or bluish tint when closed.

The variety is intended for use in borders, mixed borders, group plantings, and containers. The plant is winter hardy in USDA zones 5–9, is not invasive, and does not require complex care.
