A variety with the breeding designation Balarcpurpi, known in commercial trade under the trade name Archangel™ Purple. The plant is characterized by dense narrow foliage and a long flowering period, during which large upright purple spikes with a white "lip" are formed.
The crop possesses high tolerance to high temperatures, humidity, and drought. Optimal development requires fertile, well-drained, and moist soils. The plant is used in landscape design for planting in containers, hanging baskets, and for creating gardens that attract pollinating insects.
