The Bush Aura variety belongs to the genus Anigozanthos of the Haemodoraceae family. The plant is characterized by an orange-yellow color of the flower tube and ovary. The primary purpose of the variety in breeding is its use as a parental form for developing new Anigozanthos hybrids.

Plants of the Bush Gems series, to which this variety belongs, are perennial herbaceous rhizomatous crops suitable for cultivation in containers or open field. Anigozanthos of this group are sensitive to excessive moisture and can be affected by rust and ink spot.
