The plant has heart-shaped dark green leaves 20–25 cm in size with a pointed tip. The flowers have a rich dark red color and reach 10–11 cm in diameter. The habit of the plant is characterized as quite large.

The variety is able to withstand light intensity from 12,000 to 18,000 lux and demonstrates stability of photosynthesis during the winter period at various values of vapor pressure deficit. The plant is sensitive to temperature fluctuations and drafts, and requires control of pests such as thrips.
