The plant forms solitary flowers of dark red color. A distinctive morphological trait of the variety is the narrow shape of the middle lobe of the lower flower lip.

The leaves of the variety have a lanceolate shape, dark green color, entire margin, and obtuse or acute tip. The variety is intended for use in ornamental floriculture.
