The variety forms a compact bush 20–30 cm tall with medium-sized dark green foliage 5–7.5 cm long. The plant is characterized by simple flowers 4–4.5 cm in diameter with a red-dark purple color (RHS code Red-dark purple-061A).
The flowering period lasts from April to July. The variety is not frost-resistant and is intended for cultivation in USDA zones 9–11; in colder climates, it is used as an annual or container plant. Due to its size, the variety is optimal for bordering and small gardens.
