The plant has a compact habit, reaching a height of 30 to 80 cm depending on growing conditions. The leaves are dark green or grey-green in color and deeply dissected in shape.

The double inflorescences are colored in pink and white tones, with buds having a more intense pink hue, which lightens as the flower opens. The center of the inflorescence is usually absent or poorly defined.

Flowering is early and prolonged, continuing from the beginning of summer to autumn. The variety exhibits heat tolerance, however it is not winter hardy and is cultivated as an annual in regions with severe climates.

The plant is suitable for planting in containers, planters, hanging baskets, as well as for creating borders and for use as a cut flower.
