Variety description

10 August 2026

The Moby Dick variety is widely used in the floral industry for creating bouquets and floral arrangements. In professional floristic catalogs, the cut stems of this variety are characterized by a length of about 50–60 cm.

There are discrepancies regarding the plant's biological species: in trade offerings, the variety may be listed as Asclepias tuberosa, although specialized reference books more often classify it as the species Asclepias incarnata. Mentions within the genus Gomphocarpus also occur.
