Variety description

The plant forms a dense rosette and reaches from 60 to 120 cm in height and width. The leaves have a characteristic metallic or pewter sheen, with a silvery coating covering both the upper and lower sides of the blade.
On female specimens, inconspicuous yellow-green flowers may appear in spring, hidden within the foliage, followed occasionally by orange or red berries. The variety is relatively drought tolerant, however, it requires good soil drainage and is sensitive to freezing temperatures below -5°C.
