Variety description

The plant has a semi-erect growth habit with dense branching. Leaves are simple, elliptical in shape, serrated at the margin, medium green in color, with moderate anthocyanin coloration at the base of the midrib.
Flowers are deep purple upon opening; buds are brownish-red. Petals are shorter and narrower than those of the variety Axcent Dark Red. The variety is distinguished by earlier flowering times.
The plant is intended for ornamental gardening, used as a ground cover, and is suitable for cultivation in the open field and in pots.
