The variety is characterized as susceptible to diseases, in particular Fusarium head blight caused by Fusarium graminearum. Due to its susceptibility to the pathogen and the accumulation of mycotoxins such as deoxynivalenol, the variety was removed from the list of varieties approved for use in a number of northern regions.

In comparative field trials, the variety stands out with a taller stem compared to modern short-stemmed counterparts. Regarding grain quality indicators, the variety does not possess high characteristics of kernel yield during dehusking.
