The variety was obtained as a result of a breeding program with the genealogical formula (Ivory x LW 00W035-01) x LW 97W020-01. The plant is characterized by medium stem length (about 104 cm), good straw strength, and resistance to lodging.
The variety possesses good resistance to powdery mildew and moderate resistance to crown rust. Technological properties include ease of dehusking and low grain loss during processing.
