The variety Amilim (trade name AmiLime) is a representative of the species Avenella flexuosa. The plant is used for ornamental purposes; information regarding its agrotechnical or agricultural characteristics is unavailable.
The plant forms loose turf, reaching a height of 20–30 to 60–70 cm. The leaves are filiform and involute. The inflorescence is a spreading panicle with zigzag branches.
