Variety description

The variety is used as a component of early spring forage supply for farm animals and as a post-harvest crop. The plant is distinguished by a high above-ground mass yield of 25 to 40 t/ha and seed yield of 2.2 to 3.5 t/ha.

Seeds contain from 31 to 42% lipids. The green mass is rich in carotene, calcium, phosphorus, sulfur, and vitamins of groups B and C, and contains no coarse fibers. The variety shows high drought, cold, and frost resistance, and tolerates late sowing well.
