The variety was developed by the Buzău Vegetable Research and Development Station. It was obtained during breeding work to improve the genotypes of Basella rubra, known as Malabar spinach.
The variety is used as a vegetable crop and is undergoing testing for distinctness, uniformity, and stability. Detailed morphological characteristics and quantitative indicators of product quality are not available in open sources.
