Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety «Silver Queen» belongs to the Begonia Rex group. The plant is distinguished by large leaves, in the coloration of which silvery shades predominate, complemented by a green border and central part of the leaf. Red tones are practically absent in the coloration. The flowers are small, pale pink in shade, and appear during the autumn period.

The plant is considered sufficiently hardy provided that the location for keeping it is chosen correctly. With excessive exposure to direct sunlight or insufficient air humidity, the leaf edges can be subject to scorching. Intended for decorative cultivation in interiors, greenhouses, and shaded gardens.
