The variety is a hybrid of Begonia × hiemalis. Morphologically, it is distinguished by a hexaploid chromosome set. During the active vegetation period, the leaves range from medium to dark green in intensity.

The plant habit at the onset of the flowering phase is defined as intermediate, and the plant height after vernalization is classified as medium or long. The variety is intended for ornamental use in pot cultivation and is mentioned in studies on susceptibility to the pathogen Fusarium foetens.
