The variety Debbie is a representative of the Begonia x hiemalis group, which is a hybrid of tuberous begonia and Begonia socotrana.
Within the framework of official DUS tests, the variety is used as a reference sample for describing individual morphological characteristics. The only recorded specific characteristic of the variety is the light green color of the underside of the leaf blade.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
