The Abidan variety belongs to the Begonia Elatior-Hybrids group and is intended for ornamental cultivation in pots.

Detailed agronomic descriptions of the variety are absent. It was mentioned in technical studies on the development of computer vision systems for automated plant sorting, where the difficulty of visually distinguishing this variety from other begonia representatives was noted.
