The Cerise variety root has a yellow-green color and a tankard barrel-shape with parallel sides. About 40–50% of the root is positioned above the soil surface, which makes it suitable for mechanized harvesting.
The variety is true monogerm and is characterized by resistance to bolting. Yields can exceed 20 tons of dry matter per hectare. Used for feeding cattle, sheep, and deer.
