The variety possesses genetic resistance to beet necrotic yellow vein virus (rhizomania) due to the presence of the Rz2 gene. This hybrid was also used in studies evaluating levels of tolerance to fungal diseases, specifically Cercospora leaf spot.

Given that the variety belongs to an early generation of hybrids, detailed agronomic characteristics, such as yield or sugar output, are not publicly available. The variety is mentioned in the context of European, primarily German, field trials from that period.
