The plant possesses high tolerance to powdery mildew, rhizomania, and cercospora leaf spot. It is characterized by a conical root shape, medium-light green leaves of medium size, high juice purity, and high sugar yield per hectare.
The variety was obtained by classical breeding methods based on a natural mutation of the acetolactate synthase enzyme and is not a genetically modified organism.
