The plant reaches a height of 20 to 90 cm and forms erect or prostrate shoots. The leaves are dark green and pinnately dissected. Yellow inflorescences reach a diameter of 2–4 cm.

Flowering continues from June until frost. The variety possesses cold hardiness down to -5 °C and drought tolerance. The plant is widely used for decorating hanging baskets, planters, balcony boxes, flower beds, and borders.
