The variety is intended for cultivation as a medicinal plant. The yield of air-dry raw materials is 34.5 c/ha, seed yield is 2.2 c/ha. The polysaccharide content in the raw material reaches 12.4%, the thousand kernel weight is 2.5–3.5 g.
The variety is drought-tolerant, resistant to pest damage and disease infection. During harvesting, the seeds do not shatter, which allows for the use of mechanized harvesting methods. The plant is also classified as a honey plant.
