Variety description
10 August 2026
The variety is a hybrid of Boronia heterophylla (Moonglow form) and Boronia megastigma. The plant reaches about 1 m in height and width. The foliage is thin, narrow and aromatic; flowering occurs in late winter and spring.
The plant is tolerant to moderate frosts, but sensitive to extreme heat and dry winds. It requires well-drained neutral or slightly acidic soils, needs mulching to protect roots from overheating, and watering during dry periods.
The variety is used as an ornamental plant for gardens and container cultivation. Suitable for cutting: from the third year of growth, the bush is capable of producing 30–50 stems 40–50 cm long. To maintain a compact shape, light pruning is recommended after flowering.
