The Roxella variety is an ornamental flower crop. Morphologically, the plant is distinguished by single, non-double flowers in shades of pink.
In the technical documentation for variety testing, a characteristic light brown tint of the lower part of the stem is noted for Bouvardia Roxella. The variety has been known in cultivation since the late 1980s.
