The variety is intended for use as a cover crop in perennial plantings, such as olive groves and vineyards. Its functional task is to prevent soil erosion, improve soil structure, and increase biodiversity.
The plant is annual and reaches a height of about 30 cm. The variety is adapted to Mediterranean climatic conditions, and its study focuses on the formation of plant cover, the development of root biomass, and the influence on soil water balance.
