The plant belongs to the Asteraceae family and is a hybrid. The variety was obtained by controlled pollination of breeding lines and has undergone testing for stability and uniformity over ten generations of vegetative propagation.
The plant has a bushy growth habit. The leaves have divided margins with the depth of the incisions being more than two-thirds from the margin to the midrib. The variety is intended for use in landscaping.
