Variety description

10 August 2026

Clarus winter oilseed rape is an early-maturing hybrid with a growing period of 260–270 days. The plants are characterized as compact, with a stem height of 110 to 150 cm, and possess high lodging resistance. During the autumn period, the hybrid demonstrates moderate development, which minimizes the risk of overgrowth, and it resumes vegetation rapidly in the spring.

The seeds contain up to 49–52% oil and up to 24% protein, while being characterized by a low content of erucic acid and glucosinolates. The hybrid possesses good drought tolerance and high resistance to major diseases, including Phoma, Sclerotinia, Alternaria, and Cylindrosporium. The thousand kernel weight ranges from 3.5 to 6.0 g.
