The Diadem variety is a rapeseed bred by the German company Norddeutsche Pflanzenzucht Hans-Georg Lembke KG. In 1990s scientific literature, it is mentioned in the context of agronomic trials where analysis of plant height, branching, as well as the number of pods and seeds was conducted.
The variety belongs to winter or spring forms depending on the region of use. Historically, the breeding of varieties by this company during this period was aimed at improving the quality indicators of oilseeds, in particular at reducing the level of erucic acid and glucosinolates.
