The variety belongs to the "00" seed quality winter oilseed rape group. It was intended for the production of vegetable oil and feed meal.
The genetic material of the variety, in particular line MLCH 50, was used in the development of other oilseed rape varieties. In modern agronomic practice, the variety is considered obsolete and is practically not found in commercial seed catalogs.
