Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is used in breeding work and scientific research as a control genotype or parental component. It is employed for genetic mapping, studying mechanisms of adaptation to nitrogen nutrition, seed physiology, and assessing disease resistance.

The plant is classified as early-maturing and is relatively short in comparison to a number of other varieties. The variety possesses quantitative resistance to clubroot, which allows it to be used for the identification of genetic loci that reduce the pathogen infection index.

In literature, the variety is often mentioned in conjunction with the variety Aviso when creating mapping populations. In commercial seed catalogs for mass production, this variety is not presented, maintaining its role primarily as a scientific object.
