The winter oilseed rape hybrid PR44W29 is an oilseed crop intended for the production of vegetable oil. During agronomic studies, the variety demonstrated yield indicators comparable to a number of other varieties, and also showed resistance to lodging.
Scientific studies of the biochemical composition of the seeds and oil of the variety included analysis of chlorophyll content, phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and antioxidant activity. In experiments studying the effect of soil salinity, it was established that high concentrations of NaCl lead to a decrease in germination and a slowing of root system development in plants of this variety.
