The variety (or breeding line) RG 405/03 is characterized as a test specimen showing adaptation to arid conditions. During experiments with restricted irrigation at the flowering stage, a seed yield of 1544 kg/ha was recorded, which indicates high productivity under water stress conditions.
This specimen shows effectiveness for spring sowing. At present, information on morphological traits such as plant height, as well as data on maturity group, genetic origin, and resistance to diseases or lodging, are absent in the scientific literature.
