The variety belongs to the winter type of oilseed rape and is an oil crop. In scientific literature, it has gained recognition due to its active use in breeding programs as a parental form for the development of new lines.

Biological features of the variety include the presence of the Rlm2 resistance gene, which protects the plant from phoma infection. In the course of physiological studies, it was determined that this variety is sensitive to soil salinity. The variety has also been repeatedly included in scientific programs for studying meiotic behavior in allohaploid oilseed rape.
